You’ve heard about selling low-content books on Amazon. You love the idea of holding your own book in your hands, having Amazon print, ship, and sell it while you sleep, and then checking your royalties in the morning.
But the thing is...
  • you just can’t watch another YouTube video, waiting to see some actual sales data, or to have the real strategy revealed (are they actually making sales? Do they have a strategy at all?).
  • You also don’t want to go with the 'spamming hundreds of low-quality notebooks, journals, coloring, and activity books and praying something sticks' method.

If you go for quantity over quality, Amazon will shut down your account.

If you use low-quality PLR from Etsy and/or don’t spend the time to customize it - you guessed it - Amazon will shut down your account.
Fact #03
If you create something because you think you have a great idea - there is very likely no demand for it, and you will spend a lot of time just to make little to no sales.
Fact #04
If you think you can just “steal like an artist” and create your products based on (what you think) is selling - your competition will outrank you, nobody will see your listing, and you will again end up with little to no sales.
Fact #05
If you should get lucky and actually rank for the product you created based on what you saw selling well for others - you won’t be there alone for long. While you can make sales, these royalties are far from passive, and you’ll have to fight like a lion to hopefully defend your position. Is this really what you came for?

Q: I am not a designer - is this still a viable option for me?
A: Yes, it's still viable. Many non-designers successfully use platforms like KDP. You can use easy design tools like Canva, or hire a designer for more complex needs. Focusing on content and niche selection is often more important than advanced design skills.
Q: I have no idea what to offer, is this a problem?
A: Not having an initial idea isn't a problem. You can access monthly KDP Demand reports, which provide over 500 ideas to choose from. These resources can help inspire and guide your choice of what to offer on the platform.
Q: What about customer returns and refunds?
A: With Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), customer returns and refunds are handled by Amazon. If a customer returns a book, the sale is deducted from your account. You don't need to manage this process; Amazon takes care of it and adjusts your royalties accordingly. This makes it easier for you as a publisher, as you don't have to deal with the direct logistics of returns and refunds.
Q: Can I cancel this membership at any time?

Q: What if I have no idea where to start and will need help?
